Overall, a pretty good race with strong negative splits, clocking in at 7:10 for the
final mile.
Got off to a slightly slower start, perhaps I was sleeping, or the start was crowded,
but then picked up the pace and started to pass people in the 2nd and 3rd miles.
Felt pretty good, reasonably fresh even after yesterday's 6 mile recovery run.
I last ran this race in 2011, and this is one of my slower times for this course.
However, based on Age Grade performance, I am still performing at about the same lavel
over the course of 5 years, so that is a good thing.
The 2010 race took place in a heavy downpour, so it was not a good day, I must have
been carrying 10 pounds of water in my shirts!
