Edgerton - Sachem - Prospect Loop

Total miles: 7.00
Total time: 65:38

Mid afternoon run, low 20's and sunny.

2 x 3.5M loops: 32:47 and 32:51, continuous pace, long run.

First run of the year after a couple of weeks off. I had a chest cold
over Christmas so I made sure to rest and heal before venturing out.

It was good to be running again.

Farmington Canal Trail: Treadwell to Sanford

Total miles: 6.00
Total time: 53:28

Early afternoon run, 12F with wind, sunny.

Out: 27:00
Back: 26:28

Continuous pace, long run.

Today was quite cold and I am not sure why I was out there, but I
need to get myself out of the office.

I started off the run faster than usual simply to build up some
body heat. The trail was clear of snow and ice so footing was good.

Happy with a sub 9:00/mile pace.

A good run out on the streets with a combination of level sections
and a hill.

Paid attention to keeping the pace near 9:00/mile.

Currently focused on building up miles.

Farmington Canal Trail: Treadwell to Sanford

Total miles: 6.00
Total time: 61:36

Early afternoon run, 52F, overcast.

Recovery run, easy pace.

About a 10:00/mile pace today, the legs felt a bit stiff and heavy
from earlier runs in the week, so I was happy enough just to move
slow and steady.

I am rebuilding my mileage base so I am aiming to keep the mileage
at about 25 miles per week for 2-3 weeks until I feel stronger
and the endurance is back.

I ran 4 times this week, 26 miles total, so a good start.
