Sao Paio 5K Road Race Naugatuck

Two miles easy warm-up.

Net time: 24:42

Morning race, 65F, sunny. No mile markers. Mostly flat course on streets.

I entered this race at the last minute to get in a 5K for the month.
The morning was fairly warm and the route had no shelter, so it was
an effort.

One pesky kid kept pacing me and kept cutting in front of me whenever I tried
to pass him. After the third time, I told him to stay in his lane. At the end
of the race, I had a few words with his father, not that it mattered all that
much. I was more concerned about tripping the kid and getting an irate parent
making accusations. On well, does not happen very often.
